Rachel started ballet at the Dancer’s Studio when she was just four years old. The more she danced, the more she loved it, and as soon as she was old enough, auditioned to become a member of Atlanta Dance Theatre. Ms. Aron has danced many roles over the eight years she was a member. As a member of ADT, she has been a sheep, Raggedy Ann, Skater Doll, and Patriotic Doll in ‘Babes In Toyland’, as well as Hansel in ‘Fairytale Favorites’, a little Swan and Italian Princess in ‘Swan Lake’. In her last year, she was selected to be the lead in ‘Rapunzel’. She has also performed for many years at the Southeast Regional Ballet Association (SERBA) Festival, including as a demi-soloist in ‘Brahm’s Concerto’. In addition, Ms. Aron has attended Summer Intensive programs since age 11, and received numerous summer program scholarships.
Ms. Aron was accepted into the Graduate program at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, where she danced in many company roles, including the Rose corps in the revival of San Francisco's 'Beauty and The Beast'. She spent a year at Nashville Ballet, and Columbia Classical Ballet, where her roles included the part of 'Auntie Em' in 'The Wizard of Oz'. She was also asked to tour with the company during the year. In 2017, Ms. Aron was offered a company contract with Lexington Ballet in Lexington, Kentucky. She is grateful to Ms. Jonnie, Ms. Jackie, and all the staff at Dancer's Studio for their unending support while she pursues her professional career.
