"I am writing to highly recommend The Dancer's Studio/Backstage (DSB) as an excellent dance school in the North Atlanta area. I have been in association with DSB for over 14 years, as a Mother of a dancer, as a student and as a supporter of the Performing Company, Atlanta Dance Theatre. As the mother of a young female dancer from ages nine through eighteen, I found the dance training to be excellent. I believe it is the best that can be found in the Metro Atlanta area. There were many very qualified and experienced dance teachers for every type of dance. My daughter was able to be trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Modern. The social environment was also very good, it is a safe place with warm and caring people. She made many lifelong friends there. The studio became a second home for us. After High School, my daughter was able to attend Wake Forest University on a Presidential Dance Scholarship, which paid half of her college tuition for four years, and allowed her to continue dancing in the University Dance Company. She graduated with a Dance Minor and two majors. Many of her DSB friends also received dance scholarships at other prestigious Colleges and Universities. My daughter was able to be a member of the Performing Company at the studio, Atlanta Dance Theatre (ADT)." Ginger Brown

“It is wonderful to return to my roots and give back to the place (DSBS) that inspired me to begin my journey as an artist. I hope to inspire the same in some of my students." Kristina

"Dancer's Studio/Backstage shaped me into the dancer and person I am today, and I would not be where I am without all the wonderful faculty and teachers I had growing up there. I have made some of the best lifelong friends because of DSBS and ADT and I’m so grateful to be a part of such an incredible family." Emily

"No matter what you aspire to become when you’re older, dance will help you become successful, especially when you attend a studio like The Dancer's Studio/Backstage: a place where you come to realize the better version of yourself.  I am beyond grateful for my fellow dancers, for the teachers, for the parents, and for Ms. Jonnie; without them I would not be the person I am at this moment."  Alexandra

My ADT experience molded me into the person that I am today. It gave me one of the best foundations I could have ever hoped for and a dance family that I will always come back to visit. Being a part of ADT gave me more than just an excellent dance foundation. It gave me wonderful friends and skills that I will all carry with me for the rest of my life such as: time management, dedication, responsibility, an excellent work ethic, poise, grace and a quiet determination. I am so thankful for 'Miss' Jonnie and all the teachers at the studio. They are the people responsible for instilling so much love and passion in the lives of all of their students!
