My husband, John, and I felt the need to
express how strongly we feel about the dance studio. As you know, we
have moved to Cumming and we do have to travel extra miles to reach your
dance studio. When we agreed as a family to move to the area, we did
express the concern of the drive. I do just have my daughter at home, so
I was willing to do the drive, if she had the passion for dance and the
studio, and its instructors who would make a difference in her dancing.
My daughter, Jessie, would not consider
or even acknowledge that there was another dance studio around, when in
fact there are three dance studios on the way to Dancers Studio
Backstage. I would name then, but I think that would be unfair. Jessie
said, "the only dance studio that teaches us correctly is Dancers Studio
Backstage. Ms. Jonnie is the best dance teacher." We believe that you
encourage the girls in all areas of their life. We see Jessie taking
care of her body and that is due to you bringing in a nutritionist to
speak to your dancers. Also, you are very organized in putting the
dancer in the proper classes and the dance instructors are highly
qualified.
It may take me a little longer to get
to The Dancers Studio Backstage, but it is well worth the drive when I
see how Jessie has become a better dancer and more disciplined in her
daily activities. Thank you, Jonnie, for being such a great role model
to Jessie and all the other students at your studio. You are thought of
highly and we appreciate all that you do!!!

I have two daughters, ages 8 and 11, and
they both receive their dance training at The Dancer's Studio in
Alpharetta, Georgia. They absolutely love their dance classes. We happen
to live about fourteen miles away from the studio, but continue to drive
that distance almost every day for several reasons. One reason is the
variety of classes offered at The Dancer's Studio. My children have
their choice of many ballet classes (and for my older daughter, pointe
classes) since since ballet is a wonderful foundation for all
other types of dance. They also take jazz, tap, and hip hop every week.
Starting this fall, my older daughter will be taking a newly offered
class: musical theater! The teachers are another reason that we pass
other dance studios and drive all the way to The Dancer's Studio. Every
teacher takes a personal interest in each of my children's talents,
progress. personality, and character. In addition, every teacher at the
studio has an accomplished and established career in dance. Furthermore,
the teachers all have energy, talent, and creativity, and they are all
easily approachable and well organized. Another plus is that the classes
are arranged with appropriate age levels within each class. For example,
when considering ballet classes, an eight year old will be at a
different level and consequently require different instruction than an
eleven year old. When my daughters toll their first classes at age
three, they were taught in a warm and entertaining environment, and they
were not stresses with expectations beyond their very young age.
They left every class excited about what they had just learned , and
eagerly awaited the next week's class. That has not changed as they have
aged, Finally, since my daughters have been dancing at this studio since
the age of three, they have established dear and rewarding friendships
with many other girls and teachers. We are very happy at The Dancer's
Studio, and plan to continue the girls' dance training there for many
years in the future.

Two tanks of gas a week is a
small price to pay for the quality dance instruction my children
receive at the Dancer's Studio. Living more than 20 miles from
the studio, it is not always easy to get there, but there is no
other facility with the high caliber of instructors and concern
for their students. What began as a 1 hour ballet/tap combo 11
years ago as snowballed into a wide variety of classes 6 days a
week. We were thrilled to see that voice will be offered in the
fall, rounding out our childrens' interests and abilities. Miss
Jonnie and her teachers have the experience and knowledge to
prepare our daughter for the performing career she of which she
dreams.
